Groundfish Fishery Management Plan:
Amendment 3

Note: This Amendment was Replaced by Amendment 4

January 1988

Amendment 3 provided an analysis of the impacts to the groundfish fishery management plan (FMP). It addressed two issues relevant to the Pacific coast groundfish fisheries, those issues were to:

  1. Incorporate habitat considerations into the FMP
  2. Incorporate provisions to consider, and if appropriate, provide for temporary adjustments due to unsafe weather or oceanic conditions.

Amendment 3 was replaced by Amendment 4.
